Introducing the 'Mute Production Presents' workshop series!

Our first guest lecturer is Gael Dufour - Owner and head mix/master engineer at Areca Studio.

Watch Gael take an unmixed finished Forest Psytrance track through to finely polished and release-ready over the course of three in depth sessions totalling over six hours.

The workshop took place over three live sessions and covered several topics such as; referencing and how to actually use it in a meaningful way, mixing theory, advanced balancing/sidechain techniques, unmasking techniques, stereo image, psychoacoustics, how to polish Kick and Bass, tips and tricks for mastering your own projects and more.

This workshop recording is suitable for artists of all skill levels. It lays a strong foundation for any mix and shows you how to actually apply the principles we so often hear or read about in a Forest Psytrance setting.

Gael has experience working with labels such as Expo Records and ADN Records aswell as hundreds of tracks from independent artists across the globe.
